Cotton Candy Melodies: La Vie En Rose

Hey everyone! I am back with another track! First of all, nope. I have not watched How I Met Your Mother, so I don’t really know the story behind it (the show popularized this song). I only watch random episodes of the series on TV and I haven’t watched that particular episode (I should though), but I did find this amazing song from my daily music search on YouTube. While I was watching (probably) a Gabe Bondoc video, this video by Daniela Andrade appeared in the “Recommended for You” section. At first, I thought it would be a song in a different language, so I was surprised when she started singing in English. Her voice was also super nice! When she started singing, I was like WOAAAHHHHHHH. The song was also really sweet and relaxing, which I really enjoyed. It got me like:

Since I liked the song so much, I searched for the original version by Louis Armstrong. At first, I was really confused because he wasn’t singing and it was just the instrumental (not that I was complaining). But then, after about two minutes, he started singing and his voice instantly reminded me of old Disney movies. Oh what a wonderful world! I then found other songs through the “Recommended for You” section again, and one song I particularly enjoyed was “Misty” by Ella Fitzgerald. The song is very relaxing and made me feel like I was clinging to a cloud (totally not part of the song). Anyway, the moral of the story is: when looking for new music, the “Recommended for You” section is your best friend.

Well that concludes my journey towards new music. YouTube is a nice website. Yup. Until next time!
