School Deconstructed: Introduction

Celine Thach

I’ve been thinking about how a computer needs a lot of different parts and pieces to function: hard drive, processor, keyboard, motherboard, and all the other parts. In a community, people also work together to make an impact; much like the parts of a computer. In School Deconstructed, I will create a single photo made of a combination of multiple original photos. Each piece will focus on a different aspect of everyday school life (lunch, supplies, classrooms) that I will deconstruct and then reassemble with multiple representations of the same subject. The different parts of a piece will come together while displaying their similarities and beauty.
