Very Real: Propagation Nation

Jade Ichimura

While riding the N-Judah to the Embarcadero, on a mission to buy a wholesome rustic baguette from ACME Bread for $2, I spotted a tall building with a wall covered in plants. Most cities lack vegetation and could use a sprinkle of green here and there. Then it hit me. I could create whatever I want in VR! For the next few weeks, I will be working on a vegetation nation with “air” so crispy from all the photosynthesis that your skin can oxidize. For the completion of this project, I plan to use the new 3D tools available in Tilt Brush or Blocks. Additionally, as a mini-game-like bonus, I want to see how uncomfortable I can make myself by placing the viewer in the clouds.
