Relationship to me: Aunt / Godmother

1) What are you most proud of?
My Daughters.

2) What are you most ashamed of?
The way I look because I feel fat.

3) If you could go back and reverse one decision in your life, what would it be?
To not have married my husband.

4) What is your biggest dream in life?
That my daughters have a good future and health and that they’re good people.

5) What difference would it make in your life if you felt completely safe, completely accepted, and completely loved?
I would be very happy if I had all of that.

6) Do you think your parents did a good job while you were growing up? Why or why not?
Yes, because my mom did the best she could for me. Although she was strict, I think that’s helped me be independent, because we (siblings) always had responsibilities.

7) What’s one thing that you wish people understood about you?
That they understood my personality and that they realized that I’m not like they think I am. Most of the time people find me intimidating and they think that I’m not very comprehensive because I have a strong personality.

8) What is your biggest personal shortcoming?
I don’t have a lot of tolerance when it comes to listening and I’m also impatient at times.

9) What event in your life has shaped you most as a person, and how did it do so?
To have started working at a very young age because it’s made me an independent person.

10) Have you ever treated a person in a way that you regret? What would you do differently if given the chance?
Yes, my mom. I would have more tolerance and patience if I could go back in time.

11) Do you think it’s possible for men and women to be “just friends?”
Yes.

12) Would you rather be rich and lonely or financially destitute with lots of great family and friends? Why?
Be poor, because money isn’t everything in life.

13) If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
My personality, because it’s made me very antisocial.

14) If you knew you would die tomorrow, how would you spend today?
I would spend time with my family and also have some alone time.

15) Are you truly happy? Why or why not?
No because I’ve had and still have many problems in my life.

16) Have you ever been in love? How do you know, and what was it like for you?
Yes because you feel like you want to be with that person. The experience was nice.

17) When you’re home alone and nobody else is around, how do you like to spend your time?
Listen to music and watch TV.

18) What do you want people to say at your funeral?
What they feel. That every person expresses what they feel.

19) If you could have a conversation with anyone living or dead, who would it be and why?
With my mom because I miss her a lot.

Yes because my parents taught me values and I try to be the best that I can be each and every day.

21) How did you choose your current profession? Are you glad with your profession, or would you rather be doing something different?
Since I was young, I worked in the business industry with my mom and she passed her business on to mes. I would’ve liked to work in a beauty salon or as a secretary so I could have a set schedule and have a good salary and spend more time with my family.

22) If money was not an issue, how would you spend your time each day?
I would spend more time with my daughters. I would dedicate more of my time to  cleaning the house and on myself. I would also take  a vacation!

23) Tell me about your political leanings. Have they changed since you were younger? How were they developed?
I don’t have any political leanings because the Mexican parties are very corrupt.
