Welcome to the first post for my new column, Clay of the Dead. This column is a tribute to all the crazy creatures who make appearances in my subconscious mind. As you’ve probably guessed, I will be making sculptures of these critters. They are all very kind, though some are more mischievous than others and they’re all looking forward to saying hello to the inside of your brains too. This specific monster is Gerbert, the sleeve worm. He loves being warm and comfy, and hates nudity. Like Gerbert, most of these monsters will be made out of air dry clay and two-part epoxy.
