Yume Hoshino – To Frame a Dream

Yume Hoshino

It’s still a mystery what goes on in my mind after 11pm, but sometimes I have to drop my busy thoughts from the day, and save it for the next morning.

There are two parts of life, day and night. The drawing was the first piece I worked on, representing the calm state I am in when asleep, leaving everything from the day behind me. Later followed the frame, which came together in a completely different way, but still has a similar vibe to it. I was able to freely work and make any changes to my piece, knowing none of the funky shapes or patterns would be permanent until it’s fully baked.
