Like a lot of what I do, I worked backwards on this short film. I thought of things I wanted to incorporate: fisheye, the dusty BB gun in my basement, gophers, routine. Then I went about assigning meaning to these random elements. I thought about things I do in my life – what I choose to do, what I’m made to do, who and what holds me accountable. What I ended up with was a film that questions our fundamental motivations and reasons for doing what we do.
