Fashion Obscura: Who You Need to Be Following on Instagram

Since Instagram’s introduction five years ago, it has grown into one of the most prevalent forms of social media, especially for the fashion crowd. Bloggers, editors, writers, models, tastemakers, and just about everyone use it; some people have even developed full-fledged careers as fashion “influencers” just by their uber popular feeds. The beauty of Instagram is that it creates a bit more transparency about the industry and allows insiders to document their lives in an authentic and accessible way, but it can also be a little overwhelming. With a handful of the 300 million Instagram users part of the fashion industry, it’s easy to experience feed overload. Not all accounts are created equal, but here are my favorites:
