Beauty or Nah: Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

Hello Beauties!

One of the biggest trends in makeup currently is having long, thick, crisp eyebrows. Sadly, if you’re like me and unblessed with beautifully full eyebrows, there’s makeup out in the market that is made to fill in your eyebrows in order to achieve that full, thick eyebrow look that everyone wants these days. Eyebrows are something that make or break a makeup look, and give your face more definition. It takes a lot of practice to learn how to fill in your eyebrows. Trust me, I know from experience.

I have discovered that the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade is one of the best products out there for filling in your eyebrows. The packaging of the dipbrow pomade comes in a glass jar with a black screw cap. The pomade costs $18, which isn’t bad, considering how much product you get in this tiny glass jar. Also, the quality of this pomade is amazing.

The application of this product has a learning curve, in my opinion. It’s such a pigmented product that things can get out of hand, make your brows too intense, so that they end up looking like you put a sharpie to your eyebrows. You have to use a light hand when applying this product.

The pomade itself reminds me of a gel eyeliner. Its very creamy, and easy to blend, but it also stays put on your eyebrows, and it is hard to smudge off, which could be a problem if you make a mistake applying this product. But, it’s not a huge deal because I always comb out my eyebrows with a spooly, and use concealer to clean them up.

What I like:

  • The quality of the eyebrow pomade (smudgeproof and waterproof).
  • Very pigmented.
  • Very creamy

What I Dislike:

  • The pigmentation of the product can get too intense, if you’re not careful.
