“Loveletter is a 4-member idol group based in California. While they have yet to debut as a complete group, their pre-debut project is underway with the single XS and the E.P. Love To You (stylized as ‘loveIIu’). Three out of the four members have been revealed — Julie (she/her), Lea (she/her), and Sasha (they/them). Inspired by the ancient Chinese legends of Hou Yi, Chang E, and the ten suns, members embody mythological figures and weave a story through carefully directed styling, song lyrics, music videos, and more.”

I created loveletter as a love letter (hehe) to some of my favorite South Korean idol groups. Idol groups like LOONA, for example, have insanely elaborate lore and pre-debut projects that span multiple timelines and real-life years, plus amazing art direction throughout the entire project (unique & versatile logo designs, beautiful music videos, and otherworldly special effects, to name a few.). These three promotional posters only begin to scratch the surface of the extensive promotional material that I have ideas for; album packaging, CD covers, photocard releases, the list goes on. I plan to continue this project in the future, as I envision it evolving with me as I improve my photography and design skills (and hopefully I will eventually have more time to perfect everything TT).
