It’s super wild and almost impossible to comprehend, but I, as a musician, listen to music. I’ll give you a second to absorb this shocking news.

Soft Sounds from Another Planet – Japanese Breakfast (indie pop, electronic)
Widow’s Weeds – Silversun Pickups (alternative rock)
The Lion King – Various artists (mostly instrumental compositions by Hans Zimmer)
Although I do not take any direct inspiration from any of these artists, and the music I write is very different, I’m sure every song I listen to affects my own writing in some way or another.
