Dream in Stereo is a digital ambient composition split into three acts, made using samples that were exclusively recorded on analog equipment, and accompanied by analog synthesizers. I was inspired by the concept of Dream Radio to make this piece, incorporating samples from radio signals and other analog equipment. I really enjoyed making Dream in Stereo; making it sound dreamy and ambient was a fun and explorative experience for me. It was very liberating to mess with the timbres of the sounds and to be more freeform with my artistic vision – adding whatever I felt sounded necessary, instead of trying to fit a musical mould. I was looking for the sound, and not necessarily the genre. l I hope you enjoy!
