Child Wonder: The Last Wave

Karime Carrillo

So, as the title says, “The Last Wave”, I’m not certain if this will be my last ride at The Wave, the place I work (obviously you knew that, or else you wouldn’t be reading this), but it was a pleasure working here. I’d like to thank my coworkers for helping me and making me laugh, and making this cycle the best one for me yet, and my bosses for being so understanding.

Let me introduce you to Iron Man! That’s right, I know the Iron Man. His name isn’t Tony though, and I want to thank him for introducing me to new forms of art. He has inspired me to draw in different forms and express myself in many ways. I appreciate him 3000.

I got to know Wonder Woman this cycle, too. She and I automatically clicked when we had the common interest in Tupac, dance, and food. She has always made me smile and laugh, and I am so grateful for her. She has become a mentor to me in many ways, and always appreciated my boring mind.

Last but not least, I got to interact with Silver Surfer, he makes a bunch of dad jokes, and is super supportive. He’s the type of guy who will be competitive in board games and be a fun guy overall. Thank you Silver Surfer, for letting me ride The Wave. I can’t wait to visit and see the new and the old at SMW.

Thank you for reading my lost youth! Till we meet again, sincerely, Peter Pan
